Location Kortrijk - Antigone

A performance inspired by Stefan Zweig (an assimilated) Jew, committed writer, and humanist. Who took his own life in 1942 after writing about the decline of the old Europe. Villa Europa draws from Zweig’s work to reflect on a contemporary Europe struggling with rising extremism and calls for self-defense.
