ARC is an artistic journey where participants from diverse backgrounds are professionally guided by a team of directors, technicians, and set and costume designers. Over approximately five months, we rehearse towards a series of nine performances.

Antigone began its social-artistic work in 1999 with the creation of Ca va in the vacant Vetex factory building. Since then, we have collaborated with organizations such as SV De Bolster, De Kier, Wijkcentrum Overleie, CAW Zuid-West-Vlaanderen, and A’kzie. Today, Antigone’s social- artistic practice is inseparable from the house itself. Every year, our doors are filled with a vibrant group of people who create multi-voiced stories and artistic expressions, shaped both by their individuality and their collective energy.

In 2024, we proudly continue this tradition under the name ARC, celebrating 25 years of social- artistic engagement with the new performance Het begon gewoon zoals elk mooi verhaal (“It Just Began Like Every Beautiful Story”).
