Die Before You Die
Die Before You Die questions what must die within a person in order to truly live. The name Mthombeni was forced on Junior’s family under colonial rule – severing him from his ancestors. Junior seeks to return to the name that was taken from him. He first travels to South Africa to reclaim it. Then to Varanasi (India), the city where people go to die, to free himself from all that binds him.
