BLIND STAGE (2)

What if you went on a blind date with theatre? During our BLIND STAGE nights, you buy a ticket to a performance without knowing what you’re going to see. You only find out when the lights go down. A new creator? An unexpected form? An old acquaintance? The unknown is the only certainty.

Discover the blank space. Book your blind date with theatre.

This season, we are deliberately leaving blank spaces in our Antigone programme: open slots that allow room for the unexpected. For experiments, new encounters and ideas that don’t fit neatly into a long-term schedule. That’s what BLIND STAGE is all about: a blind date between audience and artist, where neither side knows exactly what to expect.

It’s also a conscious choice. Instead of following the usual planning logic of the performing arts sector, we embrace uncertainty and make room for projects that need flexibility – and for voices and forms we might not otherwise encounter.

We don’t want to simply book the usual suspects. We want to keep looking, listening and discovering. And we invite you, our audience, to do the same.

Like any blind date, it might be a match. Or it might not. But that’s the point. By leaving space in the programme, we create room for surprise, discovery and artistic freedom.

So, are you up for it?
