“A powerful and daring funeral service: De Warme Winkel highlights the downfall of nature with both gravity and absurdity.”
“A beauteous evening, calm and free is renewed proof of its raison d’être.”
De Warme Winkel holds a memorial service for our dying planet and vanished wildlife.
De Warme Winkel delves into the work of the poet siblings William and Dorothy Wordsworth, who wrote while walking and walked while writing, elevating walking to a cultural act. These icons of English Romanticism were the pioneers of viewing nature as an aesthetic phenomenon to be studied and enjoyed, rather than something dangerous that needed to be chopped down.
But their nature has vanished, their words are outdated, and their romantic perspective is too individualistic. Princess and Vincent join forces to create a new translation that will appeal to everyone, everywhere. Shameless climate escapism that, through the detour of beauty, seeks to rediscover what it’s all about in the first place.
